I've been wanting to change my name on here forever, but unfortunately, I'm not a premium member so it's not an option.
I have decided on a new name, and I will be switching over to my new account as of today.
I'll keep checkin in on this one occasionally, but I won't be posting any more art here.
My new name is KaladieArts. (KaladieArts.deviantart.com)
I'd really appreciate if anyone who watches me on this account, and still wants to see more from me, could go to my new account and follow me there!
This is also going to be a nice change for me, because my most popular artwork on this account is fan art from three years ago. Which, don't get me wrong, it's flattering that people still enjoy it, but I don't draw much fan art anymore and I don't want to be known for drawing other people's characters.
I'm getting pretty darn close to finishing this one project I've been working on for months. It's a wood panel somewhere around 48"x65", watercolor, gold leaf, and burning. I'm really excited about it!
(I'll post some pictures on my new account when it's done so if you want to see it you should follow me! *winkwinknudgenudge*) (Also my new account doesn't have much on it yet, I'm planning on reposting some of my best stuff from this account on my new account just to fill in the empty space, but thats gonna take a lil' time.)
(And re-watching all the people I watch…O.e oh boy.)

Or some other standard saying/promise that people say/make during the beginning of the year and then proceed to not live up to it.
Basically, I just want to say that I don't think commissions are going to happen any time soon. (I doubt I'm killing anyone's dreams here XD still thought I'd let you guys know considering I've been talking about it.) I don't quite feel comfortable enough with what I have to offer. HOWEVER!!! I AM willing to do art trades with people. If anyone wants to. I think it'll give me a chance to practice commission-like drawings without the same sort of…pressure I suppose. 
I feel a bit guilty considering I update my journal far more often than I actually post anything up here. I AM SO SORRY!!! T.T I'll post some squiggles tomorrow if I can. (Technically later today, it's 1 in the morning…oops )

The new year is still on it's way!!
I really hope each and every one of you had a fantastic holiday. And if you don't celebrate I still hope you had a great day!
I've been kinda in a rut lately, despite the fact that I have a significant amount of free time compared to when school was in session still. I gotta get my head back in the game!!
I think over break I'm going to make it a priority to learn Illustrator and Photoshop. I know photoshop pretty well, but it can't hurt to learn more about it. As for Illustrator….Yeah I know next to nothing about illustrator besides the fact that it uses vectors.
List of things I need to do: (feel free to ignore this part, it's mostly for my own reference)
1. Commissions price list
2. Large painting
3. Wood-burning project
4. Collect Illustrator tutorials
5. Flesh out portfolio
(these are in no real particular order, they're all pretty important for different reasons.)

I FINISHED FINALS I'M DONE I'M SO DONE AAAAAHHHH!!! I haven't had an actual break from school since this time last year because I took summer classes, SO THIS IS REALLY EXCITING I GET WEEKS AND WEEKS OFF SCHOOL. I'll start working on a commissions price list tomorrow, and maybe decorate my house for Christmas, and maybe set up a savings account so I can start saving for mini-trips and stuff. OR OR OR I could finish off a few traditional projects I've had lying around and get started on others THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS MY FREE TIME IS ENTIRELY MY OWN NO HOMEWORK OF ANY KIND JUST PERSONAL ART AND PORTFOLIO WORK AND HOPEFULLY COMMISSIONS. AND I HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE THIS TIME TOO. I CAN SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE.
T.T I am so happy right now I'll have time to sleep and cook healthy food for myself instead of eating nothing but chips. And maybe even some exercise too. I'll have plenty of time to skate around.
